For client's who have the length of nail they are happy with, an overlay of gel can be applied.  Overlays help to strengthen nails allowing them to grow which could otherwise be difficult due to splitting, thinning or breaking.

The natural nail is very gently buffed using a hand file and your nails shaped to meet your requirements.  There are five basic shapes: round, oval, square, pointed and squoval.  The most common shape tends to be squoval.  It is best to have the nails shaped to complement your natural nail shape.

The whole nail is covered in gel with a choice of clear, colour, pink or pink and white. 

It is important to remember your nails are what people see and with Gel they will be seen as an enhancement and not as fake nails.  Nails by Suzy believe in natural looking nails!

Toes can also have overlays which can last 6 - 8 weeks.  Toes are generally squared in shape.  Gelish overlay is the new popular choice as its super shiny, long lasting and you have a great choice of colours to choose from.
